We did it!
Edenton Builders was proud to join Extreme Makeover : Home Edition and a community of volunteers from Northeastern North Carolina and beyond in an extraordinary effort to reward true heroism. We built a new home—and a new life–for former combat medic Jeff Cooper and his family in Jamesville, North Carolina. The Coopers are determined to advocate for the welfare of others in the face of almost unimaginable personal challenges. Jeff, a decorated veteran of Operation Desert Storm, speaks up tirelessly for his fellow veterans despite illness that confines him to a wheelchair. His young son Aaron is still recovering from a terrible accident that cost him an arm. Read more about the Cooper family.
We started on Friday, March 6. Just one week later, we "moved that bus" and welcomed the Coopers into the home of their dreams, thanks to generous sponsors who donated building materials and furnishings, volunteers who will help us build the home and keep the project running, and the talented team from Extreme Makeover : Home Edition
